Meet the Abbey Gardeners for seasonal gardening advice

New: Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February 2012

As part of the year round care and development of the Abbey Gardens the gardeners undertake different seasonal tasks each month. Why not come along and see for yourself at one of the monthly Come and Grow with Woburn days ?

With practical ‘show and tell’ advice, you will pick up gardening tips and tricks of the trade that will help you get the best out of your own green spaces (and the Abbey gardeners will also help with any other gardening related questions).

Tasks include: mulching borders, pruning evergreen hedges, seed sowing, planting seasonal bedding, pruning lavender, lawn care and tree planting.

February’s task: Pruning Evergreen Hedges

Plus free guided garden tour begins at 1.00pm - an opportunity to find out about the plants, trees and features of the gardens with one of our experienced guides.  Tour begins from outside the Duchess’ Gift Shop.
