Antique Painted Furniture
Antique Painted Furniture makes a very individual and decorative statement, with most pieces being continental. Many of our painted Console Tables, Commodes and Demi Lune’s come marble topped to give your home a stylish finish. Antique French Beds and Bedroom Furniture
Antique French Beds with their distinctive style make a real statement and we have nice quality examples, some are caned or upholstered and also some well carved examples in walnut not forgetting beds with traditional painted frames. You can choose across a broad range of bedside cabinets, wardrobes, toilet mirrors, pot cupboards, and dressing tables to name a few within this section.
Antique Mirrors
Within this section you can view a fine range of quality antique mirrors that offer a stylish and decorative final touch to your room. Whether practical dressing mirrors in walnut and mahogany or a Cheval you can benefit from a wide choice. Amongst our stock are lovely examples of Louis XV gilt wood framed and George I carved gilt wood framed. Other styles include over- mantles, Adam style, French Empire and ornate framed mirrors with branch girandoles.
Antique Lighting
This lighting section includes some superb table lamps, cut glass chandeliers and standard lamps. Examples in quality brass are also available. Silver
Quality silver pieces are available here, with fine decorative finishes that include embossed “Repousse” work, chased, engraved and pierced decoration amongst others. Items range from silver candlesticks, including Candelabra, decorative tableware such as silver teapots, condiment sets, sugar casters and salts. Small collectables available are silver letter openers, vinaigrettes, pillboxes and many other items.
Antique Copper and Brass
Copper and brass has always proved a popular collected area. You can choose from a really broad spectrum of pieces here. Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau items are of particular interest. Pieces range across Victorian copper jugs, pans, jelly moulds, jardinière and the favourite, copper kettles. There is also some interesting Anchor lamps and Ships Engine Room Lamps.
