Ian Poulter
Ian has been attached to the club as Touring Professional since 2003, during which time he has been a great ambassador for Woburn Golf Club. He is extremely supportive of Junior Golf and in July 2009 held his fourth consecutive “Ian Poulter Junior Invitational” which with the support of his sponsors, was hosted at Woburn.
Ian Poulter Design
In July 2007 Ian launched The “Ian Poulter Design” clothing range which in its second year is proving extremely popular. An extensive selection is stocked in The Woburn Professional Shop and includes the Woburn logo as worn by Ian.
Ian’s Progress
- He made a successful Ryder Cup debut in 2004 as past of Bernhard Langer’s victorious European Team.
- Ian was selected by Nick Faldo to represent Europe in the 2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla, winning four of the five matches he played, he was leading points scorer.
- In the 2008 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Ian holed a fantastic putt on the 18th green in the final round to finish runner-up to Pardraig Harrington.
- Ian is currently in the top 15 in the World Rankings.
- In May 2009 Ian was runner up to Henrik Stenson in The Players Championship at Sawgrass.
- In November 2009 he won the Barclays Singapore Open.

Woburn Open Competitions
Following the popularity and success of the Open Competitions staged in 2009 we will be repeating the events again in 2010. Entry Forms for the Open Competitions in 2010 will be available on the website soon.

Congratulations to Mark Stevens from The Warren Golf Club who has won our free prize draw for himself and a playing partner to have a round of golf with Woburn Tournament Professional, Ian Poulter, playing either the Duke's, Duchess' or Marquess' courses.
