As a qualified electrician, with a supporting team, you will be responsible for all aspects of repairs and maintenance to the buildings and infrastructure of Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey. You will report to the Estates and Property Manager as part of a small central team, and will focus on enhancing the current maintenance service. You will be able to demonstrate a successful background in building maintenance, and have experience at supervisory level. In addition you will hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification. The ability to be adaptable, methodical and well organised is essential. In addition you will need a full driving licence and have the ability to co-ordinate and undertake ‘on call’ duties on a rota basis. We look for people who continually strive for excellence. Duties will include assisting in the preparation, cooking and presentation of breakfast dishes in the Clubhouse along with the responsibility of assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen. Previous experience within in a busy kitchen environment cooking large volumes of breakfast for guests is required. Excellent presentation skills, great flexibility and the ability to communicate at all levels are essential as are the ability to work as part of a busy team and on your own initiative. NVQ Levels 1 and 2 or higher, and possess Level 1 and 2 Food Hygiene is required for this role. Hours of work will be 6.15am to 11.45am and you will be required to work 5 days out of 7 per week. |

Responsible for the provision of high quality menu dishes, maintain a profitable, reputable and highly organised kitchen and to assist the Head Chef in the welfare and training of all kitchen staff. The Junior Sous Chef should be able to demonstrate the ability to work on all sections to a very high standard and be able to work well and calm under pressure, be a good team player, ambitious with a good sense of humour. Previous experience within a busy, diverse, high end quality establishment is required with a sound knowledge of all areas of the kitchen achieved within a background of restaurant, hotel, contract catering or golf club environment.
