Primate Experience

The Primate Experience begins with a behind the scenes tour of ‘Monkey Jungle’, the largest mixed species enclosure in Europe. Meet the dedicated keepers and go off-road in the 19 acre enclosure to visit the three Africa species of monkeys; Barbary Macaques, Drills and Patas monkeys.

Continue your tour with a trip to ‘Monkey Business’ where you will meet the adorable Squirrel Monkeys from South America. Finally, guests will enjoy a visit to ‘Land of the Lemurs’, home to four species of this Madagascan primate; Red-Bellied, Red-Fronted, Ring Tailed and Black and White Ruffed lemurs.

The cost:

• £299 for up to four people £49 per additional person (maximum of 8)

Availability and restrictions:

• Bookings are available for selected dates between 1st March and 31st October 2012, subject to availability.
• Due to the hands on elements of this tour, it is not suitable for children under 3 years of age
• Children under 12 will be provided with a booster seat to ensure secure travel in our Land Rovers. Children aged 4 years of age must travel in a suitable car seat provided and fitted by parent/guardian.
• Participants must be able to enter and exit a Land Rover.
