Wild Workshops 2010

We are once again offering children the chance to attend our 'Wild Workshops'. These one day experiences have close up, hands on animal encounters and unique opportunities to go behind the scenes at Woburn Safari Park.

Each type of workshop has been adapted to different age groups so every day is different! Workshops run from 9.00am to 3.30pm.

Junior Zoologist Day 1

This workshop introduces children to the animals at the Park and how we care for them. There is an opportunity to meet and help keepers with many hands on experiences with a variety of animals.

6th April - 5-7 year olds
7th April or 9th April - 8-12 year olds
8th April - 12 years & older

Primate Day

This workshop looks at some of the primates that are housed at the Park. Focusing on the lemurs and squirrel monkeys and other monkeys, children learn about these and other primates using hands on activities.

1st June - 5-7 year olds
2nd June - 8-12 year olds

Working with Animals Day - New for 2010

A specially designed day for young people that want to find out more about working with animals. The day consists of opportunities to meet keepers, find out about their job as well as practical advice whilst still experiencing hands on activities.

3rd June - 12 years and older only

Junior Zoologist Day 2

Following on from the previous 'Junior Zoologist Day', this workshop provides more hands on experiences and opportunities to meet and help keepers as well as a chance to learn even more!

31st August - 5-7 year olds
1st September - 8-12 year olds
