Up Close Encounters
Experience a magical 30 minute tour to meet your favourite animal. Make your trip to Woburn even more special with a thrilling face to face encounter with one of the majestic wild residents of the Safari Park.
Your experienced ranger will take you off road or on foot and behind the scenes to meet some of our amazing animals. Learn about the conservation, breeding, diet and welfare of some of the world's most endangered species.
Choose from the following animals:
- Rhino encounter
- Giraffe encounter
- Lion encounter
- Tiger encounter
- North American encounter (bears and wolves)
- Lemur encounter
- Penguin encounter
The cost:
- £75 per person. Additional guests may take part in the experience at a cost of £30 per person.
- The price includes entry to the Park on the day
Availability and restrictions:
- Up close encounters are available to book between 1st March to 31st October.
- Children under 3 cannot take part in penguin or lemur experience.
- In the drive-through safari children under 12 must be seated on a booster seat which WSP will provide.
- Children under 12 will be provided with a booster seat to ensure secure travel in our Land Rovers. Children aged 4 years of age must travel in a suitable car seat provided and fitted by parent/guardian.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Accompanying adults are liable to pay the full rate for admission.

Go Ape at Woburn
