Work Experience

Woburn Safari Park welcomes people that would like to do work experience with us. For health and Safety reasons we can only accept people who are at least 18 years of age for this scheme.

The minimum length of placements is 6 weeks: we are unable to accept students for shorter placements, neither do we take on one day per week placements.

Participants are placed within the Animal Encounters section where they have the opportunity to become involved with many aspects of animal husbandry and guests. Unfortunately, we cannot place students in the Safari drive-through.

We cannot provide accommodation for students and as public transport to the Park is limited, students do need their own transport. These placements are unpaid; we cannot offer any payment for work undertaken or expenses incurred whilst here.

We have a high demand for placements and can only take on a limited number of students at any one time.

Volunteering

Unfortunately, Woburn Safari Park is unable to accept volunteers to work within the Park.
